BookMatch helps you discover books using the Google Books API. Search millions of titles, browse 12 genres and 4 curated reading lists, and find your next favourite book.

Where the data comes from

Every search is sent to the public Google Books API (volumes endpoint). Titles, authors, publication years, cover images and descriptions are shown as Google Books supplies them, and results are cached for 24 hours. Genre pages use Google Books “subject:” searches, so results reflect how publishers categorised each book.

The reading lists and blog articles are written by BookMatch; the site does not sell books.
